Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven individual to join the Leviat Product Engineering team as a Product Application Engineer.
Innovative products and services are at the core of our company and this position is tasked with providing technical assistance and engineering support for all product lines offered in North America.
This position reports to the Product Application Supervisor.
The Product Application Engineer's main responsibility will be to work with internal and external customers to answer any technical questions they may have.
You will also be providing design support for our products as they apply to project specific applications.
Job ResponsibilitiesSpecific job functions include but may not be limited to:
Interact and collaborate with contractors, engineers, architects and other professionals to investigate and resolve engineering related issues Manage time to meet requested due dates and respond to customers with a reasonable timeframe Perform structural engineering calculations as it relates to Leviat products to assist customers with specifying and using our products Provide exceptional customer service Provide internal and external presentations to assist with promoting Leviat Products Collaborate and effectively communicate with team members to complete projects Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural or Mechanical Engineering Not required, but preferred Professional Licensed Engineer Minimum 4 years of experience in the field of structural engineering as it relates either steel, cast in place concrete, precast or tilt construction.
